The mission is to provide convenient meal options for families in Fairfield County with prepared dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The meals are fully cooked, chilled for maximum freshness, and served in oven-safe containers for easy heating.

All dishes are available at the flagship store located at 31 Vitti St. in New Canaan, which opens for business on Saturday, June 27. Pick up at Good2Gourmet or have them deliver right to your doorstep – allowing you to heat and eat when you choose.

The concept for Good2Gourmet was born out of necessity, says the company’s founder, Lisa Strupp. Strupp is a mother of four: two under the age of 6 and two stepchildren in their teens.

She became increasingly frazzled by coping with different mealtimes, food demands and frustrated by unhealthy takeout options.

Good2Gourmet’s mission is to provide a variety of healthy and delicious dishes for the entire family: organic baby food, kids’ meals, and generously sized prepared dinners for adults. To serve families with differing tastes and demands, they have created a diverse menu that offers classic favorites such as Lasagna Bolognese in addition to vegan, gluten free and low sodium options.

In-house Executive Chef Eric Ulbrich created all the dishes. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has been voted “Best Chef America” by his peers in 2015.

The menu provides maximum flavors with minimum sodium and no additives. Care has been taken to ensure that the finest, freshest ingredients are used in Good2Gourmet products and dishes.

Dishes taste good, and look good, too. So, if you are throwing a dinner party or attending a potluck, simply add garnish and serve (your secret is safe).
