Nbcuniversal Makes $200 Million Investment In BuzzFeed

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- BuzzFeed, the digital media hub known for its shareable lists, has landed a $200 million strategic investment from the entertainment conglomerate NBCUniversal, the two companies said Tuesday, according to an article in The New York Times.

The deal, which values BuzzFeed at about $1.5 billion, includes plans for the companies to work on television, movies, the Olympics and partnerships with marketers, the article said.
