Several New Canaan Restaurants Close

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Boulevard 18 Bistro and Wine Bar has closed for business in New Canaan, according to the New Canaan Advertiser

Chef David Raymer thanked customers and welcomed them to "renaissance of his legendary Italian restaurant in South Norwalk, Strada18," which marks its 10th anniversary in 2016, according to a website message.

Boulevard 18 had a 3 1/2-year run in New Canaan, said the New Canaan Advertiser.

The former restaurant stands opposite Thali Restaurant, which ran 16 years until its closing in November, reported the New Canaan Advertiser.

Also, two months ago, Barolo Trattoria which ran a year and a half at 136 Main St. closed for business, said the New Canaan Advertiser.
