This is a free event. Pacelle, a Connecticut native, will be discussing the themes of his book, which is published by William Morrow/HarperCollins.

In his new book, Pacelle describes a revolution in American business and public policy that is changing forever how animals are treated. He tells the story from the front lines.

Hailed as “a critically important book” by Jack Welch and “an essential read” by Jane Goodall, "The Humane Economy" describes how companies from a variety of sectors of the economy are improving the treatment of animals.

Pacelle’s first book "The Bond: Our Kinship with Animals, Our Call to Defend Them" was a New York Times bestseller.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase from Elm Street Books.
