The VIP passes give chowder connoisseurs exclusive access without crowds from 11 a.m. to noon the day of the festival.

“People have been asking us to do something like this for a few years,” said event director Jim Keenan. “I think our fans who want the VIP treatment will be happy as clams with everything this ticket includes and expect to sell out quickly.”

The VIP experience includes reserved parking close to the event. Parking starts at $5, with proceeds going to the local high school band. Beach sticker holders will park for free. VIP attendees will also get to meet chefs and take part in a special sampling not available to general admission patrons, as well as receive discounts on merchandise.

ChowdaHour tickets are $25 per adult. Accompanied children ages 6 to 12 are $5 and kids 5 and younger are free. Tickets are limited and only available online.

General admission for the event is $15 for adults at the door or $10 when purchased online, and $5 for kids ages 6 to 12.
