Mayor Tweets: Voter Turnout Nears 15% In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. -- With the polls open in Danbury until 8 p.m. Tuesday, voter turnout at 1 p.m. was 14.9 percent, Mayor Mark Boughton announced via Twitter.

As of 1 p.m., a total of 5,111 ballots had been cast in Danbury, with Ward 1 having the largest turnout from its residents in the northwestern part of the city along Clapboard Ridge Road.

  • Ward 1: Danbury High School, Gym, use Beckerle Street entrance
  • Ward 2: Pembroke School Gym, 34 Pembroke Road/Route 37
  • Ward 3: Stadley Rough School Gym, 25 Karen Road
  • Ward 4: Shelter Rock School Gym, 2 Crows Nest Lane
  • Ward 5: Danbury War Memorial Gym, Memorial Drive
  • Ward 6: Park Avenue School Gym, 82 Park Ave.
  • Ward 7: Mill Ridge Primary School Gym, 47A High Ridge Road
