DC Man Charged In Burgarly Sex-Assault, String Of Break-Ins Across Arlington: Police

The man who broke into a woman's home and sexually assaulted her last April has been arrested — and linked to various other break-ins across Arlington, police said.

Geremy Bridgeforth, 34, of Washington D.C., has been charged with burglary with intent to commit murder/rape/robbery, and object sexual penetration, in connection with the incident on April 12 on the 2200 block of Clarendon Boulevard, officials announced.

Between April 1 and 2, Bridgeforth broke into homes on the 3900 block of Fairfax Drive and stole property detectives said. He's facing multiple counts of burglary, credit card theft/fraud, and petit larceny in those incidents.
