How Are You Celebrating Mother's Day, New Canaan?

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and Little Things reports that 51 percent of women will be spending the day with their families.

A total of 14 percent will mark the day by going to a restaurant, 20 percent by holding a simple celebration, 13 percent by enjoying a home-cooked meal, 7 percent by taking the day "off," 1 percent are doing a movie marathon, 1 percent are taking part in a sports activity, 1 percent are visiting a spa, while 2 percent are celebrating with help around the house, according to the website.

As for flowers, Little Things surveys show 34 percent of moms are expecting to receive them.
