Another Arrest at Somers' Lincoln Hall

SOMERS -State Police from the Somers barracks have made a fourth arrest in the June 30 assault on a resident at the Lincoln Hall School for Boys. Yehezkel Harvey, 16, allegedly took part in the incident, along with Chamontay Boynton, Da-Kee Crittenden and Kody Rollins, all 16. They are fellow residents at Lincoln Hall.

Like the other three 16-year-old suspects, Harvey has been charged with third-degree assault. He was arraigned at Somers Town Court and released into the custody of the Lincoln Hall staff. It is possible that younger boys were also involved. The investigation continues, police said.

Lincoln Hall is a private, non-sectarian, not-for-profit school focused on providing care, guidance, and education to troubled boys between the ages of 12 and 16. Residents are referred there by Family Courts and other social services throughout the state.

In other local news, John A. Robertson, 50, of Purdys, was stopped for speeding on Route 684 at 10:22 p.m. on Wednesday. Further investigation revealed that Robertson was intoxicated. He was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets, returnable to the Town of Southeast Court on July 14.
