WESTON, Conn. More than a dozen Westonites were appointed or reappointed to town boards and commissions Wednesday night by the Board of Selectmen. The reappointments are:
- Marc Butlein and Brian Collins to the Parks and Recreation Commission for terms to expire on Dec. 31, 2015.
- Neil Horner to the Historic District Commission for a term to expire on Dec. 31, 2016.
- Carol Baldwin as an alternate on the Historic District Commission for a term to expire Dec. 31, 2016.
- Thomas Failla to the Conservation Commission for a term to expire Dec. 31, 2015.
- Margaret Anderson and Terry Hulley to the Commission on Aging for terms to expire Dec. 31, 2013.
- Michael Bellacosa and Lynne Langlois to the Library Board for terms to expire on Dec. 31, 2015.
- Robert Uzenoff to the Panel of Moderators for a term to expire on Dec. 31, 2015.
The appointments are:
- Laura Smits to fill a vacancy left by Susan Moore on the Commission on Aging for a term set to expire on Dec. 31, 2013.
- Sherry Pallay to fill a vacancy left by Johanna Straczek on the Library Board for a term set to expire Dec. 31, 2015.
- Valerie Mason Finegan to fill a vacancy left by Lou Dempsey on the Weston Sustainability Committee for a term to expire on June 30, 2012.
