Man Accused Of Exposing, Touching Himself At Long Island Park, Police Say

A man has been arrested for two alleged incidents of public lewdness at a Long Island park.

Ronald Zembko, age 72, of Locust Valley, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 7, for two events that took place on Monday, Dec. 28, and again on Saturday, Jan. 2, said the Nassau County Police.

According to detectives, Zembko was purposely exposed while touching himself inside his vehicle parked at Center Island Park, 100 Center Island Park, where he was witnessed by two male victims, both 19 years old, on Jan. 2.

An investigation by detectives led them to the identity and location of Zembko where he was placed under arrest without incident.

A subsequent investigation by detectives revealed he was also responsible for a previous incident on Dec. 28, where he exposed himself to a 39-year-old man, police said.

Zembko was charged with two counts of public lewdness.

He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Jan. 22.
