Ceremony of Carols

Join us for a liturgical performance of Benjamin Britten’s "A Ceremony of Carols" by The St. Cecilia Choir of Girls in the setting of the Holy Eucharist. At this service, the English translation of the Sarum Rite will be used. Sarum being Latin for Salisbury, it is the Canon of the Mass used in the Middle Ages at Salisbury Cathedral, and is from the same time period as the texts used in Britten’s work.
