Deadline for entries is Thursday, April 13. The art will be on display in the windows of most downtown stores from May 30 to June 14.

Many stores in New Canaan have agreed to participate in the event, which promotes artists and the Carriage Barn Arts Center.

The showcase will kick off  with a Pop Up Art Day! on Saturday, May 30, from noon to 3 p.m.

Artists should take into consideration that store space is limited and not all submissions can be exhibited. Any medium is welcome, including sculptures. There are no substitutions once artworks for the exhibit are chosen.

The designation of artwork in the stores is at the discretion of the Co-Directors and the Art in the Windows Chair, Barbel Green. The entry prospectus with specific information and entry form is available at the Gallery’s website.

For further questions, call the Gallery at 203-972-1895.

The mission of the New Canaan Society for the Arts Inc. is to promote the visual and performing arts, to enrich the community through exhibitions, education, and cultural experiences, and to operate the Carriage Barn Arts Center.
