NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan couple Paul and Patricia Kuehner will be honored at SilverSource, Inc.’s 16th annual charity golf outing on Monday, May 23 at Rockrimmon Country Club in Stamford.
The organization, formerly known as Senior Services of Stamford, is holding the tournament to raise funds for the Ride to Wellness Medical Transportation Program and the Housing Stability Fund.
Paul, who serves as the president of Building and Land Technologies, together with his wife Patricia, are engaged in numerous charitable activities from Stamford to Zambia, where they are active in the ongoing success of an orphanage. Together they are a formidable force for changing the lives of those who need a hand, both at home and abroad.
“The golf outing is our annual ‘drive’ for older adults,” said Kathleen Bordelon, executive director of SilverSource. “Our driver may be more popular than Big Bertha, because he shows up in the SilverSource car and gets people to their appointments on time. It’s golfing for a good cause, and we invite everyone to join us this year in honoring Paul and Patricia because they exemplify what it means to support those in need with compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping those who need it most.”
The day commences with a pre-tournament brunch and registration at 10:30 a.m. and the tournament begins with a shotgun start at noon. In addition to team awards, golfers will compete for individual prizes in closest to the pin, longest drive and putting contests. At 5 p.m., players will enjoy a lively reception where they can mingle and vie for special auction and raffle prizes, followed by a seated dinner at 6:15 p.m. Foursomes may enter at a cost of $1,000 and individuals may register at a cost of $300. Sponsorship packages are also available.
Registration is open, and the tournament is open to the public. Click here to register or call 203-324-6584.
