New Canaan Group Gives Out Coffee At Train Station

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Need to perk up on your way to work? Some New Canaan volunteers will be glad to help you out with a free cup of coffee.

Commuters boarding trains Tuesday at the New Canaan Metro-North train station will be greeted with free coffee, other warm beverages and bottled water from volunteers with the New Canaan Domestic Violence Partnership and Youth Adult Partnership Board.  This is one of many organized events by the Domestic Violence Partnership this month to spread awareness of domestic violence resources available to families. Beverages are donated by Bob Doran of the New Canaan Domestic Violence Partnership.

For more information about the partnership, contact the New Canaan Human Services Department at (203) 594-3080. For more information on Domestic Violence Awareness Month, visit Loveisrespect.org or call 1-866-331-9474 for help.
