Symphony's Wind Players Pay A Musical Visit To The New Canaan Library

NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Symphony’s (Not) Just for Kids program, designed to teach children between the ages of 3 and 10 about wind instruments used in orchestras, will visit three different libraries on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Organizers invite musicians and musician hopefuls to attend these events featuring presentations by wind players from the Norwalk Symphony. These performers will play holiday music from around the world.

The program will take place at the Wilton Library on 137 Old Ridgefield Road at 11 a.m.; at the New Canaan Public Library Lamb Room on 151 Main St. at 1:30 p.m.; and at the Norwalk Public Library Auditorium on 1 Belden Ave. at 3 p.m.

These programs are sponsored by the New Canaan Community Foundation and the Elizabeth Raymond Ambler Foundation. 

The Norwalk Symphony also will repeat last year's "Messiah Sing-Along" on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. at the Norwalk Concert Hall on 125 East Ave. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Norwalk Symphony website.
