Hastings Recreation Flag Football Flies in Fall

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Hastings-on-Hudson Parks and Recreation Department is offering a flag football program this fall for children entering kindergarten through the second grade, providing instruction and league play at Zinsser Park.

The program, which will hold practices on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., will play its games Thursday afternoons starting in September and continuing through mid-November. The program will provide experience for anyone interested in joining the youth tackle football program the following year.

The cost is $125 per child and $100 for any additional siblings. Payment will be accepted by check, money order or credit card with a convenience fee. Please make all checks payable to the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson. No cash will be accepted and there will be no refunds.
