Croton Baseball Falls to Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. – Ossining High School’s baseball team snapped its third two-game losing streak of the season with a 3-1 victory against Croton-Harmon High School on Wednesday.

Ossining pitcher Mike Haag shut down Croton, allowing just three hits and one unearned run in six innings. He also struck out 11. Rashawn Armstrong led the Pride at the plate as went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Croton jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but Ossining scored twice in the third and once in the fifth to earn the win. The Tiger’s lone run came after a wild pitch followed by an error.
