STAMFORD, Conn. -- Nothing says summer like an icy cold beer. And Uber is offering just the event to celebrate summer by offering free rides this Wednesday, Aug. 17, to and from its special event with the Beer Garden at Shippan Landing in Stamford.

Some of the fun lined up for the #UberBeerGardenEvent includes yummy food, Uber-exclusive happy hour specials, loud, local music, photo booth, games and a free waterfront sunset.

The best part is anyone can receive a free ride to and from the event, which runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., from Uber.
