The performance highlights to current show, "The Space Between Two Breaths," which is on display in Curation's pop-up art space. The show features work from a group of Australian artists who created their own interpretations to more than 40 photographs of areas in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2009.

The 20-minute performance by artist Florence Suerig involves her painting a piece of art while performing to music. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance starts at 7 p.m. at Curation, 19 W. Elm St., Greenwich.

As for the show, artwork is made from many different materials and draped over the human form, then photographed. The pieces were then formed into sculpture-like items, officials said.

The art all focuses around the interpretation of outdoor art in Williamsburg, much of which doesn't exist anymore. The area in Brooklyn once had many manufacturing buildings and warehouses, but has changed throughout the years.

Curation was opened in September, and the pop-up art space features recurring displays by the Australian artists focused on various themes. Displays typically last six to eight weeks, officials said.

All furniture and art at Curation is available for sale, and other special events will be planned throughout the year. For details, visit its website.
