New Canaan Zoning Board of Appeals: 7 p.m. The Zoning Board of Appeals will have a regular meeting. New Canaan Nature Center, 144 Oenoke Ridge Road.

New Canaan Board of Finance Meeting: 6:30 p.m. The Board of Finance will meet as it begins discussions on the proposed 2013-14 budget. New Canaan Nature Center, 144 Oenoke Ridge Road.

Wednesday, Feb. 6 Pesticide Free New Canaan Discussion at New Canaan Library: 9:30 a.m. Calling attention to the need for lawn care and tick control that is safer – both from an environmental and a health perspective - will be the topic of Pesticide-Free New Canaan’s presentation. Thursday, Feb. 7 New Canaan Town Council Special Meeting: 6:30 p.m. The town council will participate in a discussion with the New Canaan Board of Finance and New Canaan Board of Education on the school board’s proposed 2013-14 budget.. New Canaan Nature Center, 144 Oenoke Ridge Road.
