New Canaan Town Hall Building Committee III: 7 p.m. The Town Hall Building Committee will have a regular meeting. New Canaan Library, 151 Main St.

New Canaan Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. The Board of Education will hold its regular meeting. The board is expected to discuss proposed changes to the 2013-14 and 2014-15 school-year calendars. New Canaan High School, 11 Farm Road.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

New Canaan Board of Selectmen: 9 a.m. The Board of Selectmen is holding its regular meeting. New Canaan Police Department, 174 South Ave.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

New Canaan Library Book Explorers Club: 4:15 p.m. The Book Explorers discussion group for grades 2 and 3 will read “Alvin Ho” by Lenore Look. Librarian Miss Marie will lead the discussion about Alvin and his unfortunate fears and allergies. New Canaan Library, 151 Main St.

Susan Farewell’s Travel Tales at New Canaan Library: 3 p.m. You won’t need to dig out your passport to enjoy a trip away.
