What To Do In New Canaan This Weekend

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Here are a few highlights of things to do in and around New Canaan this weekend.  See our Events Calendar for more items.

Friday New Canaan High School Boys Basketball: 7 p.m. The New Canaan Rams will host the Norwalk High School Bears at the New Canaan High School Gymnasium. New Canaan High School, 11 Farm Road.

Saturday New Canaan Library’s Second Annual Take Your Child To the Library Day: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Join the Library for a Pancake Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. for a story time for ages 3 and up. Come and explore the Children's Room using the challenging scavenger activity.  If you complete all the activities, a prize bag is yours. There will be arts and crafts at 1:30 p.m. and all are invited for a story and harp music in the gallery followed by refreshments. New Canaan Library, 151 Main St.

New Canaan Library Notes In MidWinter Concert Series: 2 p.m. The Notes in MidWinter concert series concludes with the award-winning a cappella quartet ‘Round Midnight, making its third appearance at the New Canaan Library. The quartet's program is entitled "Round Midnight: Harmonizing the World." Notes in Midwinter is organized and sponsored by the Music Committee of the Friends of the New Canaan Library, chaired by Wendy Kerner.  Registration is not required, but space is limited and early arrival is recommended. New Canaan Library, 151 Main St.
