What To Do In New Canaan This Weekend

NEW CANAAN/STAMFORD, Conn. — An Easter Egg Hunt and classical music are just some of the events you can take part in this weekend in the Stamford-New Canaan area. Visit our Events Page to see what else is taking place this weekend.

Friday, March 22

Friday Flicks : 2 p.m. Take the kids to the Ferguson Library in downtown Stamford to watch “Rise of the Guardians.” The movie is rated PG and has a run time of 97 minutes.

Saturday, March 23

Young Women's League Easter Egg Hunt : 9:30 a.m. In addition to looking for Easter eggs, many other kids activities will be offered as well. The free event will take place at the Waveny House in New Canaan.

Beethoven “Ode To Joy” :  8 p.m. The Stamford Symphony and Greenwich Choral Society will team to bring classical music to the Palace Theatre, 61 Atlantic St., Stamford. There is also an event at 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets range from $22 to $73.

Sunday, March 24

Book Signing And Reception : 3 to 5 p.m. Artist Robert Dancik will sign his new book, “Amulets and Talismans,” at the Silvermine Art Center, 1037 Silvermine Road, New Canaan. The event is free to attend.
