Fairfield County foodies take note: Stamford Restaurant Weeks kick off Monday, Aug. 22. This year diners can enjoy not one, but two full weeks of promotionally priced dining. The 28 participating restaurants in this gastronomic feeding frenzy include some of Stamford’s finest dining establishments, as well as some fabulously casual spots. And it all simmers down to savings for you.

ZAZA Italian Gastrobar, Tappo, Chez Jean-Pierre, Nappa & Co., Butterfield 8 and Barcelona are just some of the Stamford hot spots enticing customers with special menu selections and bargain-priced lunches and dinners, with prix fixe meals ranging from $10.11 to $30.11 per person.

In a healthy, family-friendly twist, many restaurants like Black Bear Saloon, Lucky’s Classic Burger and Columbus Park Trattoria have partnered with Stamford Hospital in a healthy eating initiative for kids. Participating restaurants will offer healthy options to kids for lunch and dinner priced at $6.95 and $9.95 respectively.

Mark your calendars for these delicious end-of-summer deals. You can find more details, including menus and a full list of participating restaurants at www.stamford-downtown.com.
