GREENWICH, Conn. -- More than 80 models from the community will be showing off the latest fashions from local stores in Greenwich's annual "Fashion on the Avenue" on Thursday at 5:45 p.m.
Models will hit the red carpet runway on Greenwich Avenue between Lewis and Elm Streets.
The event will also feature a car show, presented by Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich, and ballroom dancing performance by The Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich.
After the fashion show, at about 7 p.m., nearly 40 stores will stay open late offering refreshments and entertainment.
Elected officials, including First Selectman Peter Tesei, will be on hand to give opening remarks.
