Former 'Soap' Actress From Redding Stars At Wilton Playhouse

WILTON, Conn. -- Redding actress Diana Canova stars in the premiere of her play, "And I Always Will," this weekend at The Wilton Playhouse.

Canova starred in the television series "Soap" from 1977-80. She played the promiscuous Corinne in the show, a sitcom on ABC that parodied daytime soap operas.

Canova also had parts in Happy Days, Chico and the Man and Barney Miller, among others. She lives in Redding with her husband, record producer Elliot Scheiner. She is also an adjunct professor at Manhattanville College.

Show hours are Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.
