KC and the Sunshine Band will bring its '70s funk and disco to kick off the series July 10. Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Beach Boys will return to Stamford to close out the series Aug. 15.
Other headlining acts include:
- Barenaked Ladies on July 17
- Blues Traveler, Smashmouth and Sugar Ray on July 24
- Ed Kowalczyk, former lead singer of Live, on July 31
The headlining act for Aug. 7 has yet to be announced.
Columbus Park will also be home to Jazz Up July with four jazz and blues concerts, which will include legendary blues master B.B. King on July 16.
Other "Jazz Up July" concerts include:
- The Bacon Brothers on July 9
- Delbert McClinton on July 23
- Boz Scaggs on July 30
The opening acts have not yet been announced.
