In the December article, one health care expert even refers to it as "the next tsunami" of health care. The number of adults who have died as a result of falling has more than doubled in the last dozen years, AARP Bulletin said.

More than $30 million per year is the cost to the health care system, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention predicts that number will double by 2020. AARP Bulletin said the good news is there are ways to prevent the crisis.
