Town Beach Parking Enforcement Start Date Set In Westport

With the heart of spring and summer fast approaching, officials in Westport are reminding residents of the restrictions regarding beach parking around town.

Westport officials issued an alert to residents this week remind that as of Tuesday, May 1, parking emblems - which are now available for purchase - are required on vehicles planning on entering town beaches.

Applications for parking emblems will be accepted by mail, fax or in person at the Westport Parks and Recreation Department Office at Longshore Park on Compo Road South.

Parks & Recreation Deputy Director Rick Giunta said “avoid long lines at the Parks & Recreation office by purchasing your Parking Emblems online.” Accounts can be established here.
