The new episode of the local PBS show debuts Thursday, March 19, at 8 p.m. The weekly series celebrates the cultural richness and diversity that Connecticut has to offer.
In the new episode, Bibbey and his "All Things Connecticut" colleagues travel to locations in Salisbury, New London, New Canaan, East Hartford and Danbury.
The New Canaan segment goes inside The Glass House, which was built by acclaimed architect Philip Johnson and is a National Trust Historic Site. Visit the pastoral 49-acre landscape in New Canaan that includes 14 structures, featuring the Glass House. Plus, see its permanent collection of 20th-century painting and sculptures, along with temporary exhibitions.
In the Danbury segment, Joe Riolo brings Bibbey to his old stomping grounds from when Joe was a Danbury cop, and introduces the host to Danbury’s Latin Deli. The deli’s owner – from the Dominican Republic – breaks bread and shares some Latin moves with Bibbey as patrons look on.
