NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," will make an appearance at the New Canaan Library on Friday, Nov. 15, at 6:30 p.m.

Scarborough, a New Canaan resident, will be talking about his new book, "The Right Path: From Ike to Reagan, How Republicans Once Mastered Politics—And Can Again."

In it he examines the unexpected rise and self-inflicted fall of the Republican Party. He also looks back in time to discern how Republicans once dominated American public life.

Mitka Brzezinski, co-host of "Morning Joe," joins him for the discussion, along with sports talk veterans Mike Lupica and "Mad Dog" Chris Russo.

You can register here for this event or call the library at 203-594-5000, located at 151 Main St., New Canaan. The evening is free and takes place in the Adrian Lamb Room.
