NEW CANAAN, Conn. – The New Canaan Chamber of Commerce will put on its 33rd annual Halloween Parade on Sunday, Oct. 26.

The festivities start at noon with families gathering in the Park Street parking lot to receive goodie bags -- while supplies last. The parade will begin at 1 p.m., lead by Old Faithful, rain or shine.

The School of Rock will provide live music, while Toddlertime Nursery School will be hosting the Great Scirico, who will create balloon animals for parade attendees.

There will be a “Best Dressed Family” costume contest sponsored by Venture Photography. First place winners will receive a family sitting package from Venture Photography.

Kempo Martial Arts and Next Step living will have tables set up to meet and great all ghosts and goblins.

This year’s grand marshals are New Canaan Fire Co. as well as the performers of the New Canaan High School drama production of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown!”
