New Canaan Country School Alumnus Mo Vaughn Discusses Sports Career

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan Country School Alumni Council and Athletics Department will present a panel discussion on Careers in Sports with alum and former Major League Baseball All-Star Mo Vaughn on at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 in the Stevens Building.

Join Alumni Council President Stephanie Zeigler (Class of ’81) and Country School Athletics Teacher and Coach, Carl Brodnax (Class of ’76) for conversations with:

  • Maurice “Mo” Vaughn, New Canaan Country School Class of 1982, a former professional baseball player for the Boston Red Sox, Anaheim Angels and New York Mets; currently the co-managing director and co-founder of Omni New York, LLC. 
  • Sean McManus, CBS Sports Chairman. 
  • Mary Beck, New Canaan Country School Class of 1989, senior vice president of marketing and promotion, MLB Network.
  • John von Stade, senior vice president of Sports Marketing USA Today Sports and principal at Accelerated Growth Partners.
  • Jon Spector ,New Canaan Country School Class of 2003, senior manager, team marketing and business operations for the National Basketball Association.
