New Canaan Panel To Give Resilience Tips In World Of 'Booze, Bongs, Benzos'

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Experts will teach kids and parents how to build resilience in "a world of booze, bongs, and benzos"  Wednesday, Feb. 8 at New Canaan Town Hall.

Families will learn ways to prevent teen drinking and use/abuse of drugs, including ADHD medications and mixing prescription benzodiazepines like Xanax and Valium.

Resilience is one of the strongest tools against depression, abuse, and addiction, according to the experts.

A panel will give practical strategies.
