Towey is a Connecticut native and attended New Canaan High School. She began her music career as a writer and illustrator in 1998. After fine-tuning her monkey noises, she recorded her first solo album in 2003.

Four CDs and two holiday singles later, Towey received three Parents’ Choice Awards, was chosen as a finalist by The John Lennon Songwriting Awards and more recently selected as an IMA Nominee.

A mother of three, Towey has been recognized as a “Mom of Reinvention” and safely adopted and raised several fish, three-and-a-half cats and a dog.

A colorful stop-motion/clamation video was created for her song "You Are What You Eat."

Towey has a series of Connecticut concerts coming up in the weeks/months ahead, including Rowayton Library, Waveny Castle and more.

Here is her lyric video for the track "Turkey Bop."
