New Canaan Student Voted To National Post At American Revolution Convention

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — The newest national librarian for the Children of the American Revolution is one of New Canaan's own.

Captain Stephen Betts Society of Children of the American Revolution (C.A.R.) is pleased to announce that Caileigh Sarah Murray was elected to the position of National Librarian.

Caileigh Sarah Murray, a junior at New Canaan High School, was elected to the position of national librarian on April 16 at the 2016 Captain Stephen Betts Society of Children of the American Revolution National Convention in Washington, D.C.

Children of the American Revolution is the oldest patriotic service and leadership development organization for youth up to age 22.

All members trace their ancestry back to a proven patriot of the American Revolution. 

Children of any age can join to learn about their genealogical history.
