NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan has become a winter wonderland, making kids in town happy to skip out on school and enjoy a day of sledding and creativity.

Many kids have put on their hats, mittens and heavy coats to build snowmen (or snowgirls, see photo), have snowball fights or just enjoy the latest offering from Old Man Winter.
