New Canaan A Winter Wonderland, Play Place For Kids

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan has become a winter wonderland, making kids in town happy to skip out on school and enjoy a day of sledding and creativity.

Sisters Eliana and Madelyn Soccio, 5 and 2 respectively, built a snowman along with friend Riley Stewart, 5, outside the Soccio residence on Arrowhead Trail.

Many kids have put on their hats, mittens and heavy coats to build snowmen (or snowgirls, see photo), have snowball fights or just enjoy the latest offering from Old Man Winter.
