New Canaan YMCA Throws 60th Birthday Bash

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan YMCA will celebrate its 60th birthday with a family-friendly party on Saturday, May 31, from 2-4 p.m.

Family activities at the party will include an obstacle course for parents and kids; swimming relay races and pool games; and a dunk tank with the New Canaan Y swimming coaches.

Arts, crafts, DJ music and snacks will also be available.

There will be a special birthday announcement at 3 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

The New Canaan Y is at 564 South Ave.
