Norwalk To Hold Rally For Peace, Love And Justice This Month

NORWALK, Conn. -- Interfaith, community and political leaders will join together at a peace rally in Norwalk on Sunday, Oct. 29 at the First Congregational Church on the Green.

The Norwalk Stands for Peace, Love and Justice Rally is designed to bring together Norwalk's diverse community, speak truth to power, and stand in solidarity with neighbors. There will be speeches, songs, and other voices of empowerment, encouragement and hope. All are encouraged to participate. 

Speakers will include Sen. Bob Duff, Sen. Chris Murphy, Mayor Harry Rilling, Rev. Lindsay Curtis of Grace Baptist Church, Sharon Banante of Love ALL Project, and Jalin Snead of the NAACP.

The rally will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 on the front steps of the First Congregational Church, 3 Lewis St., Norwalk.
