St. Luke's Stages 'Legally Blonde' And 'Hairspray Jr.' In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – The St. Luke's Theater Department is presenting “Legally Blonde: The Musical” and “Hairspray Jr.” this winter at the Seldin Performing Arts Center in New Canaan.

Presented by the Upper School, “Legally Blonde: The Musical” is based on the film and follows character Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal while chasing her dreams.

It will be performed on Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. and on  Feb. 21 at 2 and 7 p.m.

The Middle School will perform “Hairspray Jr.” which follows Tracy Turnblad as she pursues her desire to dance while holding onto her beliefs of social justice in 1962.

It will be presented on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.

All performances are free and open to the public.

The St. Luke’s Seldin Performing Arts Center is at 377 N. Wilton Road in New Canaan.
