Bank of New Canaan Named No. 1 by Trade Magazine

NEW CANAAN, Conn. - The Bank of New Canaan has been named the No. 1 community bank in Connecticut in the Commercial Record’s annual readers’ poll. Readers voted for the best providers of products and services in the banking and real estate professions.

The Commercial Record is a trade publication for the banking and lending, real estate and construction industries in Connecticut. The “Best of 2011” listing appeared in the company’s October issue.

The Bank of New Canaan also made the news in another trade publication. The Fairfield County Business Journal reported this week that it was one of only nine banks in Fairfield County that gained deposit market share.
