Buses Running On Metro-North's New Canaan Branch

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Due to a downed tree and wire near the Talmadge Hill station, bus service was running instead of trains on the New Canaan Branch of Metro-North Railroad. The buses replaced the 11:40 p.m. Sunday train from New Canaan to Stamford as well as for the 12:10 a.m. and 1:03 a.m. Monday trains from Stamford to New Canaan, Metro-North announced.

The bus service was operating five to 10 minutes late. Metro-North advised commuters to listen for announcements at their stations.
