Connecticut Ranks In Top Five For Fleas, Ticks

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Connecticut ranks in the Top 5 states across America this year for fleas and ticks, reports foxct.com.

Connecticut ranked No. 4 as New England states took the first four spots, reported foxct.com. The Nutmeg State finished behind Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire and just ahead of Wisconsin, which rounded out the Top 5, foxct.com reported.

Connecticut is listed in the “severe” zone, the article said. The state has created a “Tick Management Handbook” for dealing with ticks in your home, yard, and on your pets. You can find that information here.
