Don’t Leave Brush Or Debris On The Road Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Ridgefield residents are being asked to keep their storm debris or brush off the side of the roads because the town will not be picking it up.

According to First Selectman Rudy Marconi, the rules for brush cleanup will be much the same as it was during Tropical Storm Irene and last year’s Halloween Snowstorm.

Clean up from the power or tree crews debris will most likely not begin, Marconi said, until late next week due to the impending storm.

The Transfer Station will be open for extended hours, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday and residents will be able to dump both food and tree debris for free.
