Downed Trees Blocking Roads, Causing Power Outages In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Downed tree limbs were reported Tuesday morning on Michigan Road, Canoe Hill Road, Smith Ridge Road and Heather Drive in New Canaan, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

Strong winds overnight knocked down trees, limbs and power lines across Connecticut, causing power outages. New Canaan was reporting 68 power outages as of 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to Eversource.
