Easton resident Andrew Barer, 52, was arrested in February on charges of making inappropriate and lewd comments to students from Saxe Middle School in January. He was charged with second-degree breach of peace.
Several students said Barer made the comments to a group of boys in the cafeteria.
Barer refuted the story, saying he called one of the students a "genius" and never used the word "penis."
Barer will begin the program Aug. 28 and will be placed on probation for two years. Should Barer meet all of the requirements the charge of second-degree breach of peace would be dropped, the New Canaan News reported.
