New Canaan Will Be Seeing Warmer Temperatures

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A raw Columbus Day marked the last of the chilly temperatures this week with warmer temperatures arriving in Fairfield County on Tuesday.

On Columbus Day, temperatures hovered around the 60-degree mark. But Tuesday's high temperature will be 72 to 74 degrees under partly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.

The temperature could reach as high as 76 on Wednesday with a slight chance of showers.

Rain is likely Thursday with a high of about 70 degrees.
