Flood Advisory Issued As Storms Produce Torrential Rainfall In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A line of strong thunderstorms is moving through the area early Sunday evening.

The storms, moving east at 40 miles per hour with winds also in excess of 40 miles per hour, are producing torrential rainfall and may cause localized flooding.

A Flood Advisory has been issued starting at 5:42 p.m. Sunday and lasting until 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
