For Friday, Metro-North will operate a Saturday schedule without the trains marked as Shoppers’ Specials in the timetable. Depending on the time of day, this schedule provides about 60 percent of normal weekday trains.

Metro-North made the changes due to the projected impact of an approaching winter storm. The changes will enable Metro-North to provide the best service possible while ensuring its passengers' safety, the commuter railroad announced on its website.
